Dr. Forrest was born and raised in Northern California. She left the state for several years after joining the Air Force, then returned to California to raise her family and continue her education. In the mid 1990s, she moved to Central California permanently, where she could be closer to the sea, one of her great loves.
When she was only eighteen years old, she knew that she wanted to become a Clinical Psychologist and help others. Though her path was somewhat lengthened, in 1987 she received her Ph.D. and in 1989 she became Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of California. She has worked extensively with inpatients and outpatients in all kinds of settings, helping others just as she decided to do when she was eighteen.
Dr. Forrest has worked extensively throughout her career to help others develop and live more fulfilling lives. She believes we all deserve to have quality lives and that we can. Understanding that at times life can present us with challenges, some of which may seem insurmountable, she remains an ally that utilizes her education and life experiences to help her clients maintain and/or attain the lives they deserve.
